In 029, I was able to separately edit my instruments, but in 037, when I try to edit and load separate instruments, the instrument panel appears to alter all the instruments for the particular chip (all the 2a03 channels, or all the VRC6 channels, etc.) I'm working on.
What happened between those two builds and can it be fixed for a future build?
(also, can the instrument preset choices for each of the sections--volume, duty, pitch, etc.--be brought back in a future build, maybe?)
Presets have been [url=http://famitracker.com/forum/posts.php?id=1115]discussed [url=http://famitracker.com/forum/posts.php?id=3211]before, and the reason brought up was that they weren't used much, and that they were fairly easy to generate on your own. I don't think I saw a response from jsr about it, but nicetas also put all the MML macros in the second linked topic. It's not too difficult to save FTI files with the relevant macros in place. I tend to make them on the fly when I need something of the like.
