Fill the required fields and the optional fields if you like.

In the date format fielt you will fill in the datefomat you want to have for the dates in the forum. It works like the date function in php, read more about it here.

If you want an avatar you can choose one of the existing avatars or upload an own avatar. (If the admin allow that)
To choose an existing avatar, click on the browsebutton beside the available-avatars-field. A window will appear. Click on the image you want to have as avatar.
To upload an own avatar click on the browse button beside the upload-avatar-field. Choose the image you want to upload. It must be a jpg- or gif-image and max 100 pixels wide and max 100 pixels high. If the admin allow, you can mark the do public box so your avatar will be public to other users to select among the avavailable avatars. If you your avatar will be public you can enter a name for it in the avatar-name-field.
