I found a few the instruments to be a bit jarring, but that can be fixed easily.
As for the song itself, if you speed it up to speed 3 tempo 150, it works as a nice little cowboy ditty thing =D

Really nice! This has been the first western-themed .FTM I've heard, and it was a nice first one. Everything's so cheery and bright, it sounds like it would work well for a stage 1 theme.
But...*eye twitch*...does this really need to be VRC6? And have new patterns for every frame? I know you don't need to be efficient to write good music, but it seems wasteful to me when you're working with a music format that's all about conservation...
