Try to make something that has more melody and less randomness. If no ideas come out, then try messing around with different tones, progressions and stuff, but don't place notes and effects at random because it creates too much pollution and it's not pleasant to hear.

kinkinkijkin was a member who joined a few years ago and always posted bad music. He also had a pretty bad attitude towards people here.
You can see that for yourself. Use the forum search, type his username, check the threads he made and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Oh my god you're right. His music is way horrid than my first song (i was nine when i did). Mex's comebacks were great.

Another thing you can do is try a few covers until you get some inspiration from them (& not just video game music covers; try covering whatever other music you enjoy listening to).
I also know how it feels to be stuck when you run out of ideas; it took me 3 years to finish my last OST because of writer's block. I pulled it off at the end, though.
If you also feel like, you could join collaboration threads or even make your own (like I did [url=http://famitracker.com/forum/posts.php?id=4586]here). Or even start looking for a few incomplete projects that people dump here (like in [url=http://famitracker.com/forum/posts.php?id=2281]this post). Who knows; you might be the one that can finish any one of those songs if you get inspired enough, or you might inspire the original composer to complete the song based on what you add.
