In an effort to at least try & make my 3rd OST complete, I've decided to try to Frankenstein something by combining some songs together.
Check out the WIP attachment; the first 4 songs are what I'm trying to use excerpts from, to make a song worthy of a final boss theme (even though I didn't take any excerpts from my minor boss theme yet). The fifth song is the WIP song (which is currently a jumble of excerpts).
Does anyone care pitch in?

Haven't had time to fiddle around with anything tonight, but tomorrow I'll see if I can't add to your boss theme.
The rest of the songs have kind of a Gargoyle's Quest 2 vibe, which is rad cuz that's probably my favorite NES game.
I liked your mini boss theme alot too, but try setting the speed to 3. I didn't change a single other thing about it, but picking up the speed made it sound a thousand times more "boss fighty" to me.
Thanks, Jimbleezy; I'm looking forward to what you'll come up with. Mind you, setting the speed to 3 is overkill. I'll see what speed may be more suitable for that (& I also have to take care of my fanfare & final victory songs).

That's only your opinion about yourself. I can prove to you how bad I was with my [url=http://famitracker.com/forum/posts.php?id=738=]first post on this forum. Simply put, it's just a matter of trying & keeping persistent with practice.

I see what you're saying... I especially realised this when playing the minor boss theme alongside the other themes in my upload (it'd probably help more if it were in the same key).
Then again, I could always scrap the other songs & find a way of mixing my minor & major boss themes since they're both in the same key & have a similar mood. But I'll wait & see any results before I resort to this.

You could call your current major boss theme the final boss theme (leaving it as it is, or updating it if you want). Then you could combine the new final boss theme and the minor boss them to get the major boss theme. This way the new major boss theme would remain familiar by having components of the minor boss theme, and also introduce the endgame.
Current:
Minor, Major, Mix
Proposed:
Minor, Mix, Major

I tried to make the final boss song using components of your other songs, but I had trouble doing so. I didn't mean you should scrap all of your songs, or any of them. I believe you have put a considerable amount of time into this project, so it would seem best that you also finish it.
I actually thought you were referring to all the songs in my WIP file rather than the final product. But familiarity can still be achieved no matter how you arrange the order of the songs, as long as all songs hold a similar theme & the same key.
Anyways, I'll see what comes out from any contributions & act on it in whatever way I can.

Hey Tech. As promised I messed around with it a little bit. Sorry I couldn't get more done, but I'm falling asleep at the keyboard.
I tried to build the tension a little bit considering it's a theme for a boss fight, while keeping with the overall feel of the other songs you linked. Wasn't sure what to do with the Sawbass, and it gets a little obnoxiously repetitive, but you can mess around with it more if you want. The version I linked isn't entirely finished (I've had a crazy busy work day, but I didn't wanna make you wait), but I honestly wasn't gonna add more than one or two more frames before I transitioned into a loop back to the beginning.

Well, it wasn't exactly as I expected since my intention was to use MMC5 & only a single instrument, but HOLY CRAP!!!!!
How the hell did you manage to merge my style with Monty On The Run's like that?! I think this IS worthy of becoming a final boss theme & (with a little modification, I think I can get this to work in MMC5).
But don't think this is over yet; here's hoping others contribute whatever they can & I'll also see what I can do.
