Hello all, I thought I should share some tunes that I've made in the past while. Some are accurate (like these three) while others are a bit more stylized. There's not much else to say, so I'll just go ahead. I'm looking for thoughts on my songs, maybe some advice, and I'm just interested in sharing in the chiptune joys with you guys. I'm also interested in maybe getting some requests from you guys, usually it's either some techno-ish music or it's vg music that's not quite as old as the NES :P anyways, let me know what you think!

Green Garden is quite good. Only suggestions are using V01 instead of V00 for the intro in VRC6. (Curiously, V00 on the 2A03 is V01 on the VRC6; V01/V03 on the 2A03 is V03 on VRC6; V02 would be V07. But you probably knew that.) I also suggest using P7F on the echo parts and using P80 when it goes back to playing harmony.

I like your suggestion for the intro, though I can't say I agree with the slight pitch shift on the echo, simply because it messes with my OCD. I also feel it's a little less representing of the actual melody synth from the N64 version, but that's just my opinion :P but I see the effect it has, definitely will keep it in mind for the future!

Hello again, I've got a few more tracks you may be interested in. The first one is Luka's VOCALOID Song, "Just Be Friends", and the second is "Baby I'm Yours" by Breakbot. I don't strictly do video game music! These are a bit less accurate but still very catchy in my opinion!

All right, I just had a listen to the others, and this is what I have to say:
I like the FM-synth feel of Corridors of Time. It sound so retro and peaceful.
The preboss theme here sounds so crazy, I won't even pretend to understand what's going on. But I think that's what you're aiming for...
Just Be Friends was not to my taste, but still good. I liked your emulation of the sweeping effect they do so much nowadays. Advice in this one is to have snares play on the DPCM and the noise at once.
Baby I'm Yours was enjoyable, but keep in mind that you can have multiple waves playing at once at different positions.
Overall, I like your blanking technique and it, for the most part, sounds quite good.

Thanks alot! That's a lot to go by, and I'll look into some of your suggestions. The Pre-Boss Theme has a strange echo in the original that I was trying to emulate and it's pretty close, but it's a bit more overpowering than the original still. Would you mind explaining what you mean for Baby I'm Yours? I'm a bit confused.

Sorry for double posting (I think?), but it's not just some random balderdash, I have another song for you all! This song may get me killed, because believe me, some people have an unhealthy obsession with FF6, so when you make a cover of the opening tune, and it's not absolutely perfect, you're bound to get death threats. Anyways, if you have any suggestions for improving this song, I will probably not be willing to implement them, since this song is a case of it was a headache to finish, and I don't really want to ever look at it again XD still, you may like the way it sounds, that's up to you however!

Here's something I did recently (it's also posted to my youtube channel now), Isaac's Battle Theme from Golden Sun on GBA! For this one I was actually able to get the drum samples from the GBA rom, so they're a bit louder, although I've found the DPCM loses treble when you have more tracks playing, so I added noise overtop the snare to enhance it. Hope you enjoy!

The only suggestion I have for this one is to add noise hihats to it. Other than that, poodlecock approves of this FTM!
