Title says all. If you have any criticisms, please post them here. Thanks and hope you like it. Took me a while to make.
EDIT: A buh wha? The poll I had here just got deleted! Well, please post here if you want me to continue with this on all Sonic 3 tracks or not, and as always, please, if you don't like, post criticism. Venting is okay with me, personally, but probably will not fly with moderators.
EDIT 2: Fixed version.
EDIT 3: More songs and crapton of WIP. The Hydrocity 2 in the medley is someone else's and used as a placeholder.
EDIT 4: Fixed IceCap bass. Thanks, SoltiW!
EDIT 5: Check out Linker2A03's cover of Chrome Gadget over here! (Also, his Chrome Gadget and za909's Mushroom Hill 1, and the since-removed Star89er's Hydrocity 2 cover are included in my FTM. =P)
EDIT 6: Added za909's kick and toms into my FTM and fixed import issues.

Thanks, man! You make good songs yourself! And would you like me to continue with this project?
This is damn good, yo
That means a lot to me coming from you. I really liked your stuff in Sonic ErAZor (hope I spelled that right). Have any more work on hacks coming, Dalek?
Really nice. I think you should do more songs.
One thing you might want to improve is the percussions. They are quiet but I understand this is a major problem with VRC7.
They are a problem. This also affects the triangle channel. I am honestly surprised nobody noticed that I failed to fill in the triangle in the second part of the song. Then again, this effect may have had something to do with it. Okay, now it's filled. Try muting all VRC7 channels for a weird kind of instrumental-ish thing. It also gives you the true feeling of depth in the drums.

Dang I was not expecting to see such a close cover to the original using the VRC7. While this cover has some inherent differences from the original it has some characteristics that make it sound close to the original. Good Job!
Thanks! And please point out the differences as my aim in this one was accuracy (besides the patches).

I don't know, while I don't notice much difference with the triangle there, for some weird reason I can hear the percussions a bit more. I remember your first Sonic FTMs and I can say you have improved a lot since you got here.
The triangle, noise, and DPCM all play a role in the percussion. But in the original version, I left the triangle channel completely empty for some parts of the song, which left percussion in the later parts of the song softer than it was intended.

Great, now I understand better. Well, I listened to your song for around 15 minutes, and I can say it's good and the percussions were a little more noticeable after the edit. I would like to see more stuff.
I was going to post my Chrome Gadget VRC7 cover song! If I do it now, it'll look like I'm trying to up-stage your Angel Island cover. Tell you what, if I upload my song, you'll get free publicity, telling whoever listens to my song to go check yours out too.
Anyway, about the song now, I had to stop what I was doing(watching the X games)... This was really incredible! Very close to the original! I understand that you're shooting for complete accuracy-well, as complete as the VRC7 can be. So, here's something you'll want to take into account(keep in mind, I know these songs by heart, and I heavily analyze VGM channels, so wall o' text ahead):
1.) Starting with frame 04, your lead melody in FM Channel 1 should have some more vibrato(it can be heard, but it's not enough). The last note in row 2A/2B is where you'd hear that vibrato, as the note is being held the longest. This also applies to FM Channel 5, as it is echoing FM Channel 1.
2.) Frame 08, Channel 1, should also have some more vibrato. Not only that but the notes are held a little to long, and it could use another note stop command, somewhere around row C3/C4. Lastly, on this frame, note A#5 should only play three times. The way you have it now, should only be used for frame 0A.
3.)Frame 09 has the same two problems that frame 08 does, more note stop commands are needed, and A#5 should only play three times. It should never play four times.
I'll leave for now(there might be more), but continue to work on this! It's great as it is, now!

You may know every detail that someone could ever know about this song, but, do you know why children enjoy the delicious taste of Cinnamon Toast Crunch?
I'm sorry had to do that xD anyways I really like this, it would be pretty awesome to hear Act2's music as well. c:
