My first attempt at covering a song. Currently somewhere more than 1% and less than 20% complete. I'd appreciate tips and notification of mistakes. Updated yet again!

Updated again! Also see the first post; I need an instrument. I also need a tip: what value should I give Gxx for the second note in a triplet at 360 bpm?

If frames can be split into smaller chunks, the most accurate values are:
C-3 00 F ---
D-3 00 - G(5/6)
E-3 00 - G(5/3)
--- -- - ---
F-3 00 - ---
ut we cannot split frames into smaller chunks, so we have to round things up, like this:
C-3 00 F ---
D-3 00 - G01
E-3 00 - G02
--- -- - ---
F-3 00 - ---

Are you using the game's MIDI as reference? I'm not talking about most likely inaccurate fan made MIDIs but the track ripped from the game.

I'm using a fanmade MIDI, but it seems very accurate, to the point that I could play the MIDI on my computer and the song on the game at the same time and not notice any differences.

Also, thanks, nicetas-c, 1 and 2 work.

I can rip the MIDI if you want... I can even give you each channel by itself with the original instruments.

I've been out of town, without internet access, but I finished it! I've also done several others; you can find a complete collection of my work in another thread I'll make in a minute.

I'd still like to have that MIDI. What do you use to rip it?

Anywhere on Google. There are tons of dead links to it for some reason... http://www.4shared.com/file/76520093/5a299676/VGMTrans.html this is a link to an older version I guess. I'll upload mine to Mediafire in a sec.
