I've been playing about in famitracker as of late and have created a few tunes that I'm content with, and figured I'd post them here in hopes of some feedback from you guys in regards to them. So please give them a listen and tell me what you think.
Your last song almost reminds me of the game Kiwi Kraze.
It's a pretty good tune.
The first one's also good, but I recommend a title change (since the song's mood, in my opinion, doesn't give a sense of feeling threatened). It sounds more like the type of game music you'd play in a beat-'em-up game as the character fights through a dark alley.
The same goes for your second tune; it a great tune, but the title of this song doesn't really reflect its mood.
Other than that, they're all good.

I've always been really bad at naming things, so yeah, they may not exactly fit, but I can't do much better, heh.
On that note, I figure I'll also upload a less fast paced song I've made, with a sort of melancholic feel.
That's cool; not everyone can think of good names for everything. Even I mess myself up sometime when thinking for a title. :P
This new song is excellent; great harmony & syncopation in Square channel 2 & the MMC5 channels. Its mood is melancholic, but the musical scale of the song makes it somewhat soothing (that is, if it were played on an actual piano).

Sorry for such a bump, but I figure I'll start to post my newer stuff in this thread now that I've remembered it exists, as to avoid creating another and adding to clutter
This isn't everything I've made in my absence, just the recent stuff.
I dont want to do a HUGE bump-dump.
According to what tech said, I have way more generic songs than this guy. My songs are more generic than tech's and fail more than some real noobie's songs. Now downloading your music.
EDIT: Your songs are pretty happy/jumpful. That is great, it promotes a happy attitude and since they're pretty good, it promotes people who want to be succesful to be joyful. If I become a teacher at any point, I'll play this music during class.
Well, the song doesn't set any actual emotional mood. It simply sounds like a combat sequence for a side-alley scene in a beat-'em up game.
I do recommend one thing for your music, though; try to use more harmony in your music. What I mean to say is that you should try avoiding copying notes from one channel to replay them in another (unless absolutely necessary). Instead, try to find some notes that can complement the channel you're using as the lead.
