You might want to have a look at some examples in the Show Off Your Work topic section (naturally, I'd push my most recent track forward because my horror themes, when slowed down, can be used for this).
If you look at my latest track, go to the Dungeon track & listen to each sound channel (excluding noise & DPCM) separately; the notes & combinations I've used are similar to those used in the I.M.Meen entrance theme.

It's a relatively simple tune & you have my soundtrack (along with a whole bunch of soundtracks on this site) for you to learn & take advantage of. So why not have a go at it?
Your best bet would be to concentrate on one single square channel in FamiTracker; use it to follow the main theme of the I.M.Meen intro. Then, proceed to using the other square channel & the triangle channel for the bass.

All you need to do is keep laying & pausing different sections of the song you want to copy into FamiTracker. Do this a few time & use my song as a table to match the notes as best as you can.
