Possibly something else already pointed out/noted, but I'll fire it out there anyway just in case.

There's quite noticeable pitch issues with the triangle channel, particularly in the higher registers:

In the NSF there's a square wave layered with the triangle wave, both playing identical notes so that you can hear the pitch difference. Is this something that's potentially fixable, or is it inherent to the triangle wave/2a03 mechanics (what with it being primarily used for bass and all)?

The most impressive thing here is that if you use carefully Pxx command you'll will overcome this trouble.

That sounds awfully tedious =P but if the pitch issues are a limitation of the format itself, then I guess that's what has to be done.
