Gryphon Man: Hurray, rational tempo is finally in action! These rows still use S05 intsead of S04:
a) Square 2, Pattern 02, Row 1E
b) Square 1, Pattern 02, Row 20
c) Square 2, Pattern 02, Row 38
d) Square 1, Pattern 02, Row 3A
Mage Woman: I have nothing to say for it is too incomplete.
Mage Woman (Alt): Rational tempo again. Looks like I do actually teach something. Here are some suggestions/fixes:
a) Decrease one octave of all notes in Square 1 Pattern 00.
b) Add some triangle toms, although it is up to your own where to add it, maybe on Pattern 00 Rows 19-1F.
c) Remove that P80 at Square 1 Pattern 0A Row 19.
d) Remove the 'D-5 0A' at Square 1 Pattern 09 Row 00. Now move to Square 1 Pattern 08 and replace Rows 0C-0F with this one:
A#4 0A - G07 ---
B-4 0A - G08 ---
C-5 0A - G07 ---
D-5 0A - G08 ---
e) Try to fix the vibratos in Square 2 Patterns 04 and 05 where 'A-3 01's are.
f) The B-4 sounds irritating on Frame 07 Rows 16 and 17. Just don't use any vibrato there.
Sprint Man: The pause in Frame 08 ruins the whole song for me. Square 1 Pattern 09 Rows 38-3F are also awful for a Mega Man-styled composition.
Wily 3: Stop that V01 V02 thingy. I know there are some skills, but the only places I have seen something like this in action are:
a) Mega Man 9 Wily Fight
b) Mega Man 10 Wily Stage Boss (which is not even an echoing)
That said the whole soundtrack has a high potential, but its progress is too slow.
EDIT: By the way, are late comers allowed? You know what it means.
Sprint Man: The pause in Frame 08 ruins the whole song for me. Square 1 Pattern 09 Rows 38-3F are also awful for a Mega Man-styled composition.
Why was the pause a bad thing? Was it ruining the flow or something?
Also, I had a feeling someone would pick out Pattern 9's end effect after the song was said and done, that was my bad, even though I did kind of like it.
That being said, was there anything you liked about it? Could help shift the focus of future Mega Man-inspired songs, since I still feel like I have some trouble with the concept.
Sorry for getting in this forum so late in time, but now I'm finally here! And yes, nicetas, it'd be a blessing to have you help with this, because I truly believe a game with a solid concept and solid assortment of enemies/bosses/stages deserves something that makes the game, itself, refined and complete.
But yeah, definitely get in contact with me as soon as you can whenever possible. I'd like to go over some things with you, if it's cool.

To be honest, I kind of get pissed off about how much he hates MM3 as well.
Anyhow, really digging Wily 1 so far, much better than my original concept. I'll try and do a few things tomorrow, got some great ideas for a few stage themes.
I don't COMPLETELY hate Mega Man 3's music, there are some decent gems in there. I do enjoy Snake Man, Hard Man, Gemini Man, Shadow Man, and Spark Man's themes. Besides, you can't force every man, woman, and child to say that Mega Man 3 is one of the BEST soundtracks in the Mega Man series to walk the Earth.. that's a bit overzealous. It's a matter of personal preference.
And wow, nicetas.. I'm stunned at your work. Keep doing what you do best.
I might be able to help a bit if you want. Tried IMing you but no response
So what do you want to help with?
Also, please do not use that duty thingy in your Mega Man 9.5 (that Famicompo Mini Vol. 6 entry). I know that it helps the attack of each note, but lowered volume one frame before next note or I00 would be enough.
