Hey all,
As a musician I love using Famitracker. A few days ago though, I started having problems. Sometimes when I load a file and sometimes when it's playing, it will come up with a message saying Famitracker Has Encountered A Problem And Needs To Close, We're Sorry For The Inconvenience. Then after that it will come up with the same message for DrWatson Postmortem Debugger. Then the program will stay there and it will never close. I gave it 5 minutes. The files I load do not use expansion chips like VRC7, FDS, etc. I am using the latest version that's not the beta and I also use the Beta version and I load files in both versions, could that be the problem? I have attached one of the files that has had the error. It is a cover of Ode to Joy from Die Hard on the NES. Any help solving this would be GREATLY appreciated.
Sounds like you're having memory / stability issues with your PC rather than it being a problem with FamiTracker. Do you get any other software crashing on you?
if you happened to download famitracker 3.5 beta RIGHT when jsr first uploaded it on the forums, several people had problems with that version. he has since reuploaded fixed versions that might correct the problem. if you have the latest one (downloaded more recently than that first post) then i dunno the problem :X
