I've been meaning to complete this one for a while now. I original intended for it to be in the VRC6 chip, but I accidentally saved over the original when I wanted to see what it sounded like in VRC7...
Enjoy and comment! (Especially if I need to correct something)
This is really nice! I liked how you ripped the DPCM samples from CT itself to give it that extra bit of realism.
Thanks, I wasn't really sure if they would fit without the echo sound on the instruments, but I decided to add them anyway.
They're not samples from CT, but they fit still.
What do you mean? I got them from the game.
Song sounds nice, would be better if you added a reverse cymbal on your noise track.
Ah, I must have missed that. I'll update it when I can.
Impressive if the quality fooled tssf, especially since he put all that work into the amazingly beautiful Chrono Trigger Resurrection soundtrack. I've been meaning to ask, did you finish the entire game's soundtrack before the project was ended?
It's a volume issue probably-- the sample was converted at low volume so it sounds like it's hitting 3 times instead of echoing. Maybe it's just Famitracker's DPCM converter, I dunno.
Rushjet, I'm inclined to say it is the DPCM converter. jsm says the converter is the same as that wav2dpcm converter but for whatever reason, the quality of any samples imported in FamiTracker just don't sound that great to me. Maybe I'm just not doing it right..
