Hey, guys. It's my first time on this forum, but you probably know me if you frequent the forum at Jamie Sanders' [url=]www.openemulation.com (or if you've ever visited my website at [url=]www.techemporium.info).
A while ago, I've taken an interest in FamiTracker & yesterday, I decided to transcribe the song Clubbed To Death (Kurayamino Variation) into an NSF file. Here's the YouTube link to the original song:

I'm using the Konami VRC6 chip specs & it's my first time using DPCM for drum synthesis. It's still a work in progress, however.

Here are the attachments; it's 50% complete (& is still being worked on). Don't be afraid to criticize me if I screwed up something. Because I can't find any musical notation for this song, I've most likely made some errors because I'm transcribing this song by ear from an MP3 file.
(Note: the complete project is in my third post in this thread; if you want the incomplete project, go ahead & download it to try trancribing the rest of the song yourself.)

Transposing, Tech? You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. Transposing is moving the song to a new key. What you have done is to transcribe the song.

If you want to do anything to the song, you're more than welcome, but I just completed the entire project today. All this in 25 frames!
Mind you, I'm sure I messed up something in the middle of the song (starting at the piano solo in the middle of the tune). I'm attaching the project file & NSF chiptune here. Anyone can use it for whatever purpose they want (modify it, use it for an NES game development project, just listen to it, etc.).
But if you're correcting any mistakes I've made, please post it so that I can learn from it.
