So I decided to cover Solar Man's theme last night and earlier today, as it's one of my favorite robot master themes out of the game. It really gives that feeling of being in a frantic rush to a fire boss. It's not perfect but it's the best I could come up with in that time span. Any suggestions and improvements are appreciated.
haha, i guess that means we can't be expecting a tssf mega man 10 nsf. :[
i haven't heard any of the music myself yet (and probably won't unless someone throws a download link at me) so i can't possibly comment on the accuracy of this cover, though it sounds convincing enough. the music isn't too good though... that seems the popular consensus, which is a shame after how great i thought mega man 9's music was.
I'm thinking of putting up the instrument rips for download for anyone else to make a full NSF remake. with MM9 it was fun, the music was awesome. MM10..If I was getting paid to remake it all, then I would do it. If there was anything in it for me, I would do it. There are one or two songs that are kinda catchy, but that's it.
Well tssf, if you wanted to send me the instruments I'll gladly take a whack at the soundtrack. It's not terrible in my opinion, just different from the others.
I would recommend importing the WAV files into a sound editor that can view things and measure them in "frames", that's the -best- way to replicate a frame-by-frame FTM instrument front an analog audio source.
