This is my first (published song) after about 2-3 months of screwing around with FamiTracker. I'm already a (self-taught) expert at ProTracker II on the Amiga 500, ScreamTracker and MadTracker on Windows, so this interface was rather familiar to me.
Great stuff throughout, but I love that ending. The samples are top notch, too. I haven't really done much with pitch slides yet, but this is making me want to give it a go...
[quote=Kizul]The DPCM is cool, too — did you make the pre-converted samples yourself? :[i][/i]o?[/quote]
The samples were originally 16-bit audio samples from the Ableton Live 6 library. I just imported them at full quality; since there's only two samples, I could afford to do that and not take up all the ROM.
[quote=]P.S.: What kind of lame power is 'Heart', anyway? (just kidding! xD)[/quote]
Shaddup. I'm a homosexual and I get more girls than you do, so just shut up! S-shut up! XD
Ooh, and the quote tags work GREAT. Good job, Famitracker!

With these boards you have to use "quote=" in between the first set of brackets but not the member name (not sure why), and just normal old "/quote" in the second set. A bit awkward compared to other boards, but yes, it works. Of course, there's always the alternative of just bolding what you are quoting.
This is actually a really nice piece for your first, even if you've had experience with other trackers. Square 1 could be a little less harsh, while it does bring something to the table it seems somewhat overpowering.
