Yo, I couldn't find any threads on this--sorry if this is old hat.

I was working on a tune in Famitracker when my laptop (currently without a functional battery) was unplugged. It must've been while I was saving, because now I can't open the module--Famitracker says "File is not a valid FamiTracker module." Is there anything I can do to recover the file?

Thanks for any help. I guess I learned something about backing up files!

I've had that happen on me as well. It's too bad FamiTracker doesn't have an auto-backup function. Maybe that should be added to the request list.

FamiTracker has backup function, actually. It could be enabled or disabled in configuration.

Hi. It's usually possible to recover bad files, so if you want it then I can take a look. You can find my email address in the help files & about box.
