I was bored yesterday and decided to do a cover of a favorite X3 song of mine. I think I'm getting kind of good at this.

I've still got creative block from making so many originals, so it might be a while until my next original song. Probably not going to upload them in huge batches like I did before.

Please point out any flaws, or just comment on the song in general.

[Also: I might cover another X3 song while waiting for creative inspiration. I'm leaning on Crush Crawfish or something similar.]

Lovely work. Great job with the notation! The only three complaints I have are that the bass/drums are too quiet, use pseudo-echo instead of cutting off notes wherever possible (especially your 2A03 Squares), and that sometimes the melody plays some notes before you disabled the vibrato.

I've attached a modified version where I:

- Doubled the row count+double the speed (F06 -> F03) so I could..
- .. Make 2A03 pulse channels play echo wherever you made them cut off
- Lowered the volume of all channels by 1 or 2, except VRC6 pulse 2
- Changed the closed hat envelope so the noise played at a louder volume
- Changed the DPCM Snare sample (C#3) to a custom one I made
- Added a Z00 on every DPCM note to create a powerful "pop" kick effect to both the kicks and snares of the song
- Moved the D00s and B01 to melody channel to optimize the drum patterns
- Made sure 400 was applied before any new melody notes played

By lowering the volume of everything but the DPCM/Triangle, I essentially made the DPCM/Triangle louder. (I'd make them even louder if this was raw 2A03, but we're dealing with 8 channels in VRC6)

To achieve this quickly, I used the following shortcuts:
- CTRL+A (twice): Highlight all notes in the pattern
- Right Click > Expand: Spread out all highlighted notes by *2
- Shift+F1/F2 (Or Shift+Scrollwheel): Add/Subtract numbers on effect/volume columns
- Shift+UDLR: Highlight without mouse
- Page Up/Down/Home/End: Quick navigation+highlighting for spread out patterns
- F7: Play from where you currently are
- CTRL+Enter: Play the row your cursor is currently on without playing the song
- F8: Halt all sound

Hope this helps!
