...so much has happened since I last posted a cover. Danooct's triumphant (and significantly sarcastic ^_^ ) return, a few new favorite covers...and many MANY new users. Guess it's time to post something.
In between trying to get personal life straightened out and finding a job, I decided to work on an...unusual cover. This is a cover on the first of my favorite songs in Mario and Luigi: Dream Team. This game has, simply put, one of my all-time favorite soundtracks. The soundtrack up to this point only got better and better, but was blown out of proportion with the first of the final level themes (there are four of them, one of them is an even eerier Dream World version of this song). So...this cover was born.
Not going to lie, I feel like there was some laziness with this cover. Not sure if it's from the stress or lack of emotion put towards this one in comparison to others (doesn't mean this cover was emotionless, but a lack of combined attention might have something to do with this), but...it was made and it sounded good enough for a posting.
As a bonus, there is a work in progress as the second song. Not sure if I'll actually complete it, but...oh well. Depends on how fast things settle down again.

okay first of all, this is just fantastic. i feel like you perfectly captured what this song is all about. Also, since this is at 900bpm, i'd hardly call that lazy. It's this kind of stuff that i aspire to create. I want to be as good as you.

I wouldn't call it "my" sample so much. Don't even remember where I got it from, but go ahead and use it.
Surprised that this cover received more praise than I thought, even after showing it to a few other people. Guess I'll be posting works a bit more often if things go well.
