here is yet another obscure arcade game, time tunnel by taito. This game, not to be confused with the tv series of the 1970s (same with the c64 game but at least that shared the time travel theme), was released in 1982 on their brand new sj system (best known for powering the arcade versions of front line and elivater action, which were the first games taito released for the nes).
The soundtrack is complete and even includes a bonus track. Try to guess what the bonus track is!

not acording to the angry video game nerd. it's worse than dr. jekill and mr hide on nes, desert bus, crazy bus, big rigs and (name an ljn game other than maximum karnage, sepparation anxiity or warlock).
I'm mostly put off by the fact there is no sound effects. but, to be fair it was one of only 3 snes games with a vocal theme (clay fighter and tails of fantasia being the other 2)

If you noticed, I called it "HONK Kong 97" and said "best gaem"

I wouldn't use those while being serious.

And actually, I just watched that AVGN episode.

OK, a bit of backstory. At the time I started doing this, I was debating whether I should do this or ben bero beh. TT at least had an american release (back then, half of their arcade games were developed in their American studios), while bbb, despite being only released in japan, was where taito's longtime composer Hisaioshi agura had his start. I decided to do the former simply because It would be a bit easier to do just in 2a03 as I was going for accuracy, though I do plan on covering bbb's soundtrack in the future.

I did that on purpus. I intentionally fucked up (or, more politely worded, butchered) galaga 88's name entry music.
