Well, as you probably read in the headline, I'm recreating PPPPPP (the VVVVVV soundtrack) in famitracker. Remember that this isn't even close to being finished at all, I actually started working on it about 4 hours ago...

I have only done "03 - Pause" and about 1/6 of "04 - Pushing Onwards" so far, but I'll finish 04 and recreate the other songs in the soon future, of course.
Edit: I've done a little bit more than one third of "04 - Pushing Onwards" now

Remember that unlike most other songs I've posted so far, this project will not be about utilizing the channels as much as possible, but rather make it sound as true to the original as possible.

I'd very much appriciate any kind of feedback! So feel free to tell me how you think I'm doing, and/or if there's anything I can do to make this more accurate.

All of the instruments were made by me, and I didn't steal them from anywhere. If any of my instruments interests you, feel free to use them! I'd of course appriciate of you gave me credit for them, but you don't have to if you don't want to, as long as you don't claim them as your own.

Enjoy!

This iissssssss so good already. Will be eagerly watching this thread!

It's tiny, but I love that technique of overlapping the noise percussion with the white noise sweep on frame 03 of Pushing Onwards.

Mmmmmm, delicious.
I love this, but Pushing Onwards seems kinda slow.

Thank you! And yeah, that trick is kinda nifty!

Thank you! And yes, it's slightly slower than the original. That's because the original is run in 50 hertz, I think.

...And that leads me to a question I forgot to ask:
If you change the engine speed of an FTM to a custom one and the export it to an NSF, will the NSF-players that I play it on automaticly change engine speed too? I want to change this to 50 hertz to make it sound more accurate, both in the speed of both songs that I've done so far, but also to fix the arpeggio in "03 - Pause" to be slightly slower.

And also, I might aswell throw in a tiny update, where I've done a tiny bit more of "04 - Pushing Onwards", just because!

Edit: Oops! Forgot the .FTM...

Actually, I was playing around with this, and Speed 2 for Pushing Onwards is actually pretty much exactly the original.
EDIT: This is wrong.

Dunno. I really like Potential for anything, but it seems really difficult. But first I think I'll finish Pushing Onwards.

I'm pretty impressed with how similar to the original this sounds. Excited to see more.

I would like to bump this question, since no one answered it.
