A small project I've been working on for a few days. Corridors of Time is the only legit one I've got right now, since Wind Scene is unfinished and Gato's Song is only 2 frames long. Might add some more later on, but a lot of the better songs are just too complex to work on 2a03.
Hope you enjoy, criticism appreciated as always.

Updates:
Fixed a few articulations in Gato's song
Added some to Wind Scene
Added a complete cover of Secret of the Forest. Pretty proud of this one.
Feedback appreciated per usual.

Very creative uses of channels to compact the song into 2a03, especially in corridors of time.

this is very pleasant to listen to. although i do feel like he arps are much too fast and distracting.

I'd tend to agree about the arps being too fast, but making an instrument for each would be a chore and probably fill up all my instrument slots before I finished. I might try some trickery with the engine speed to slow them down a bit.

Edited Wind Scene with longer arps to get an idea of how it would sound instead.

I like the sound, but I'd rather have more variation/dissonance in the chords than simplify them to reduce instrument numbers. From what I understand there are better options for arps being considered in future updates, so maybe I could revisit this eventually.

Cool. Some neat sound ideas in here.

Really good job on the harmony in the late section of the Forest track, too.

I realize that you're not TechEmporium but I did this anyway.

That sounds way better than I would've expected it to. If you don't mind I might add some stuff on.

I'm not sure if you're aware of Rushjet1's "tradition". He adds swing to basically every song TechEmporium does. Ever.

Anyway, that aside, this is really good. These are some of my favorite tracks from Chrono Trigger, which is one of my favorite games, with my favorite soundtrack. So I'm a little biased here.

Ha! No, I didn't know about that before.
Thanks for the feedback, it's definitely one of my favorite games/soundtracks too.

You need cover Lavos' theme, and Frog's theme.

I'll consider it. I'd like to do most of the soundtrack at some point, but there are a few that I think won't fit into 2a03 so well.

Do you know how much I want to play Chrono Trigger right now? Huh? Do you? Butt tons, that's how much, thanks to these brilliant covers. And I can't. Burn in hell, you wondrous, benevolent chiptune artist guy XD.

Seriously though, this is great. All very well translated into 2a03.
