For one reason or another it seems as if whenever I use the sub wave for a Namco instrument instead if cycling through, the sound cuts off. I tried playing other compositions to see if it were my version of famitracker that was at fault but there seems to be nothing wrong. There's only a problem when I try to change the sub wave. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Upload an FTM of the problem you're having.

Are you referring to the wave macro? If so, do you have anything defined for the subwaves?

Thank you for responding, here's an example of what I am talking about.

The problem is that you haven't defined anything for the subwaves. By default, they're all blank, so you have to make them yourself. This can be done by opening the wave editor, going to the wave # box, and increasing the number in the second box. This creates blank subwaves. Incrementing and decrementing the number in the first box scrolls through your subwaves. Fill in each one to have the waves you want.

I've provided an example below.

Thank you so much for providing clarity on the matter. With this I feel a bit more at ease with Namco 163.
