This is a song I started with two days ago. This is also my very first Speed 1 Tempo 150 song I've made. I'm very happy with it, but I'm not done with it yet, because:
1. I want to add more to it.
2. I'm not happy with the last two frames and I will change them.
3. I have not touched the DPCM channel, but I will add something there, maybe electric guitar and/or strings.
4. I need to give less focus to the triplets by adding more before that part of the song.
Feel free to tell me what you think about it, and if there's anything that you feel that I can change or improve on, or if there are clashing notes anywhere (which I don't think there is), please tell me about it so that I can fix it.
As I do want to keep this my own song, I won't use any edits in the final version, so making them would be a waste of your time. Instead, I would appriciate if you told me how to improve on it. I hope you understand.
Now, enjoy the song!
Oh, I almost forgot! I will of course be uploading updates on this thread when I've made edits that are big enough to be worth uploading!

This is pretty cool. I come here pretty much solely to check out people's originals and it boggles my mind to see a great one like this get no response at all.
Thank you! And I think it's because only songs that need work or songs that are made by awesome people like SriK are the ones that get response. The ones in between get none at all.
But what do I know? This might have scared them away:

This is awesome! Great work on this! Very good in both composition and sound design. I love it. The way the triplets are handled give it a slight Portal vibe. I only wish there was less focus on the the triplets, and maybe some sort of chorus, breaking away from the current chord progression and having a harmonized lead would sound really good here. Still sounds wonderful!
Some other places I've tried to conquer:

The attention to detail in this is amazing. I'm looking through the patterns and keep on finding new stuff going on that I hadn't noticed before.
As for the name, I'd call it "Mission in the Caves". It has the distinct atmosphere of a caves theme and the urgency of looming danger.
Have this DPCM instrument because yes.[/quote]
Thank you! And that's a good name idea, I might use it.
As for the samples, it was very nice of you that you attached them, but I think I'll be sampling my dad playing guitar instead. He really liked this song and wanted to participate, so he'll play to it and I'll sample it in some way or another.

I agree that there should be less focus on the triplets. I'll add that to the list of stuff to fix/change.
