I was making a new song, but in one part of the DPCM channel, I have to cut the DMC sample and the "pop" sound it makes disturbs me, because there are no other sound at the moment to "hide" it. Other times I make the "pop" sound in a rhythm to make it one sort of percussive sound, but that's not possible in the part I'm talking about.
Proooobably gonna need an FTM to see what's actually going on, but by chance do you have the sample's D-counter set to something other than "Off" (like this http://puu.sh/geKGN/ee91b29b92.png )?
The pop you're hearing is caused by the Delta counter going from wherever it is to 0. The note-cut event causes this. Try using release events instead -- this halts playback without resetting the counter.
