Back before the latest Famitracker (or perhaps a little further back, I'm not quite sure how up-to-date I've been on this program), I was able to drag-select two columns, then press ctrl+a, then copy the entire frame I was editing.
Now, even when I click-drag-select, say, over 3 channels worth of columns, and then press ctrl+a, it always selects only one channel (note that before, it would select ALL channels in the current frame!). I actually found the old functionality of this much more useful. This is because I will often go back to old frames, ctrl+a the entire frame, then go to the "end" (or wherever I am in terms of progress in making the song), and paste all of that pattern data into the last frame. This is easier than going with the "duplicate patterns" route because this way cuts out the process of pressing "move down" to get the frame data in the right place.
Is this on purpose or is this a side effect of fixing something else? I'd love to know what's going on here. (and if anybody else does the same thing as me!)
