I've had this problem a while, but I've just now decided to post it. In FT, and ONLY FT, there's about 1 to 2 seconds lag in the audio alone. Interface is perfectly in-sync, but the audio is way behind. Not a huge problem, just slows the workflow a bit. Anyone else have this problem? If so, how did you fix it? (if you did).

Did you check your buffer settings? This might be your current problem.

It's set to 66 ms. That shouldn't make it lag that much, should it?

Try 40 to 50ms, if it doesn't somehow change things, then I can't help you.

Which OS do you use?

Try both to reduce and increase the buffer size and see if the behavior changes.

One more thing I'm aware of is that when you play a song, the UI and audio are always one row out of sync, i.e. FT plays a row after highlighting it. I find that a little annoying (varies by song tempo and composition), but by no means significant.

Lowered to 30 ms: No lag, but really unstable and glitchy sounding. Raised to 100 ms: Laggier, no other difference. Both seem to cause a framerate lag in FT itself (or maybe my PC is just under stress). I'm using Windows 7 Home premium, service pack 1.

EDIT: Ok, the framerate lag is DEFINITELY related to the bufferlength. No lag when on 60ms
