Hello :)

This is an original song I made for Famicompo Pico. I started making this one 4 days before submission was over and tried polishing it as much as possible before sending it.

Overall, I'm really happy with the results on this one. My favorite thing about it would be the sound design, but I could've improved the melodies by making them a little less repetitive, but that's how I compose at the moment! I want to improve a lot so any suggestions are welcome.

This one got 23rd place out of 86 entries in the compo. If any of the commenters is reading this, thanks for commenting! I loved every single one of them.

Anyway, enjoy. Comments and criticism are welcome.

A beautiful merry light-hearted track.[/quote]I know what you mean. It's actually supposed to sound like a steel drum or something like that, but anyone can interpret them as they wish of course. :P

Go ahead and study how I made that effect, and use the instruments provided if you wish. The most important thing is the pitch change (using Pxx effects) to avoid clashing notes.

This would certainly do as a song to be played when a player is in a certain area of a world! Especially a happy place--or perhaps even a seemingly happy but actually quite confusing and brutal village. Good track, Dr_Mustache! (do you play smash?)

To be honest I see this track more as a minigame than anything else, if it were to be in a game. That's because it's supposed to be a playful thing, like repeating the same melodies with a few variations and different instruments, but it still obviously fits a happy setting. :D

Thanks! And no, I don't play Smash but I wish I did. I can't afford any videogame consoles at the moment, unfortunately.
