Took a few hours to make... not sure if I'm happy with the drums, they're accurate, but I wonder if DPCM cymbals and noise/pulse kick/snare/toms would be better. Not sure how to go about using pulse percussion though D:

In the spirit of the forum's recommended rules, I'm not going to make a new topic for each track I make in this project. Instead I'll just edit the topic and link to the attached post up here! E1M5: Suspense

Round Three: E1M3: Dark Halls. One of my personal favourites on the 'spooky and suspenseful' side of the soundtrack.

I see you used an Axy command on the triangle, as well as a D volume. Either you just copied and pasted without cleaning it up, or you don't yet know that the triangle channel actually doesn't have any volume control, besides "on" and "off". Sounds good, though!
Made some edits I thought might be beneficial.
I made a couple of small additional edits to help improve as well. The first change is the Ride instrument's volume pattern, to help give it a little more sustain. I also changed its duty cycle pattern to give it a more metallic cymbal sound.
The second change was adding note breaks to the tops of 2a03 Pulse 1 and 2 in Frame 00 so that the notes won't continue to play as the song loops back from the ending.
Yeah the volume related stuff on the triangle was laziness. I tracked the baseline to the sawtooth before working on the melodic strings, and adding the triangle harmony was something I thought of after I realised I wasn't using the channel and the bass could use a little more bite.
Thank you again for the help with the e1m1 drums! I didn't know you could affect the noise channel with the duty cycle :D very cool. I can't listen to it right now while I'm at work but I'm looking forward to seeing what you did when I get home
Edit: Thanks everyone for the help with E1M1. I think I can call this the more or less final version!
Feedback on E1M5 would be appreciated, next is E1M3!
