Ok. Suggestions. Could use some arpeggio chords in pulse 2, and also some arpeggio envelopes on the drum to give it a bit more "oomph". I can't give you and edit right now, but I'll get one to you when I can.

Touche CheeseGuy, that was my Idea, too.
Probably, all keys are wrong (I'm no composer whatsoever), but maybe it's a basic idea you can use

Ok, here's an edit I made of that 4edit, since I was too late to be first edit. I altered the drums a bit.

You should add an echo.

Where is that echo supposed to be? a one-channel-echo isn't very useful since the notes are too slow and an arpeggio on the second channel adds way more than an echo.

Yeah, there's not a huge amount of room for an echo. You COULD go full DPCM-abuser and use IT for echo, but that would be hard.

actually, pulse 2 doesnt really sound that great with the arp after you listen to it for a while. in short: it gets muddy. so, i thought a second part can be added, or the same thing with a few steps down the key signature.

Definitely hearing a lot of improvement from your previous tracks, H_Mister! As usual, great melody and bassline, and I see you're using hihats more in your beats, as well as releasing your notes instead of completely cutting them off!

I probably won't be able to touch upon this until sometime later this week (maybe tomorrow?), but I just want to give you a heads up that I plan to. Stay tuned!

Hi again! I've attached my modified version. This one is a bit tricky for me to explain, but I'll try my best.

The source composition is great, and so is the sound design, but in order for my harmony/countermelodies on pulse 2 to stick out better, I had to modify the "accented" and "unaccented" notes (think poetry) of the overall beat. Remember that the entire song has an overall rhythm, and in this case I felt the noise percussion didn't flow very well with the rhythms coming from pulse 1 and the triangle's bassline. In addition, notice that although I have pulse 2 play the same rhythms that pulse 1 plays, it occasionally breaks off to do its own thing, with a totally different rhythm that compliments the other rhythms in the song!

As for the pitches I chose, I modified some bass pitches to better flow with the melody, and by doing that it made it easier to work out the harmonies, because it let me choose some chords which share the same notes that the melody/bass do. Humming or messing around on a piano can help, though your best bet (besides picking up piano lessons/learning music theory) is to arrange/cover several of your favorite songs to learn some great techniques, including harmonic structure. Try following some patterns with how the melody/bass flow together, then see how adding the harmony/countermelody adds even more emotion to the two!

Other (smaller) changes I made include:

- Breaking up the patterns into 4/4 time so the measures are more evenly-spaced
- Minor vibrato modifications
- Minor pitch bend additions
- Minor lead instrument volume envelope modification
- Slightly detuning the bass on the lower pitches to better-tune it
- Slightly detuning pulse 2 with a P81 to sharpen it slightly to avoid clashing with pulse 1
- Changing the duty cycles a bit to create variety
- Making the song loop. Feel free to change it back to a C00!

Like I've said before, this is a large improvement since the first song from you I modified on this forum. Keep writing those melody/basslines, and remember to watch for overall rhythm! Harmonies should (hopefully) come to you naturally over time the more you arrange/compose/listen to music, but otherwise consider arranging/covering your favorite songs to learn tons of cool compositional tricks. Bonus points if you decide to pick up piano or study music theory. Hope this helps, and good luck!

The song sounds so amazing by H_Mister, I'd never come up with this beautiful piece like this, and the changes by the others and potentialing are good, but something bugged me.

What did I change?

- Added some Axx commands so that channels do not blast full time till the = appears.
- Gave the Triangle some "style".

I hope you apprechiate what I did here..
