I've returned with another small little retro project: a cover of the tunes found in [i]Thin Ice[/i] for the Mattel Intellivision.
The main theme (track 1) was originally composed by George "The Fat Man" Sanger, who went on from this game to produce some truly iconic scores for game like [i]The 7th Guest[/i] and [i]Wing Commander[/i].
With this particular cover, I haven't so much gone with a 1:1 conversion of the songs as I have a reimagining of them as if the games were ported to the NES in its early years (right around when the game was in development around 1984).
Also, if you've never played this game, do go check out a Youtube video of it. Or, better still, pick up one of the Intellivision Flashbacks and play it there. It's a fairly nice little arcade-style game.
