I'd agree with everyone with how you can improve, but I also want to bring up scales; if you learn some, (or just look at a sheet or whatever) pretty much anything you make with them will sound fine.
Here's the song, using an edited version of Cave Rider (Same FTM, different tune.) No need to credit me, but if you will, just add my name in the credits of the game. This could work as a boss song of sorts.
Also, one thing I recommend is that you store all of your songs on the same FTM. Making different ones will just make things confusing later on.
On the new song you made, it's a vast improvement. One thing I would recommend is that you have something more melodic, rather than the most dominant part being just a bunch of the same notes.
