yeah the 8 channels produces a nasty whine on this one, but the construction of this module (especially the delayed piano chords) is really nice. if you could cut it down to 5-6 namco channels this would truly shine.
The true if the buzz that causes sounds a bit annoying, but the truth is that if used at least 6 channels not achieve the effect of piano (sustain pedal) to perfection, to say that. Thanks all for your comments, I'll try next use fewer channels.
Honestly, the hiss doesn't bother me. Partly because I lost the ability to hear that high because of loud gunshots, but still, I didn't mind it before, either. I just considered it part of using that many channels. And I agree; the piano effect wouldn't have been as good without 8-channel namco.
