Well, I don't know. It's just a little odd, most of the time people use longer frames. Whichever is easiest for you, though; It doesn't really matter, as long as it sounds good, which it does.

I agree, though what concerns me isn't the 16 rows choice, it's the fact that you enabled every effect column in every channel, but again, whatever.
I just opened the same amount of effect tracks on every channel cause it looks cleaner to me. Its much easier for me to work when everything is uniform. The reason I used all of them was cause I wasn't sure how many I'd need when I started.
Also I worked off of a midi I imported into Guitar Pro 5 to tell me the correct notes. I just sorta scanned through the song to see if there were any extremely short notes and if I needed to use more rows. Sixteen rows corresponds to the length of each measure in GP5, which makes note placement in Famitracker much easier for me.
