Here's some things I've put together in the past while. If you're feeling up to it, please do tell me what sucks and what doesn't~

They're all very well-executed and polished, good starts. The first two, especially, have nice melodies; I'd love to see them expanded.

Thanks. I tend to walk away from a piece once it loops naturally, and then can't figure out where to go with it.

It's a problem i've brought up a number of times over the past year or so, and i still haven't really found a way around it. Learning some theory made it easier to modulate to a new key, or jump into the relative major/minor, but

I dunno. I tend to come up with one section, it loops, and i can't really bring it anywhere beyond that.

Checked your bandcamp. Your pieces tend to have a lot to say, how do you do it :?

Thanks for checking out my work!
I would say that I also tend to loop things when it's easy. Something I do sometimes to extend a song is to just remove or add in parts. Like, if you're using all the tracks for chords, bass, etc., you could try adding another section with just the basic bass and drums. Then you can reintroduce the melody, maybe vary it a little bit or change the instrument. Just messing with which parts are playing and which aren't can extend a phrase naturally, and often helps you come up with new ideas that can be introduced to extend things further.
