Mega Man II for gameboy redone with VRC6. Made for stereo so the ftm's balance is a bit off.

Megaman II for the Gameboy had good tunes but crappy instruments and tuning.
However this VRC6 remake makes it awesome. And I mean, AWESOME.

This is absolutely fantastic. It's like an entirely new soundtrack! Never knew there was such potential within those songs until now.

Gonna have to look into that FTM...

Wow, when I first played this game - this was the only Megaman game which music I turned OFF. It was too high-pitched and the waveforms on the wave-channels were so badly crafted I just couldn't stand it, no matter how good the melody itself was.
THIS however is just a godsend!! I really love the "End Time"-Track, this was actually the only track I actually enjoyed - and this just improves upon everything so hugely I can find neither words nor numbers for this.

By the way - are you planning on tackling my personal favourite of the bunch - Megaman 4 on the NES?

Anyways, please continue doing these awesome remixes, they sound so polished and utilize every aspect of the 2a03 + VRC6 so well.

This is amazing. The music as heard in the original game must've been a mistake.

I'll grab it on bandcamp, but

thanks for uploading the ftm. It's really quite interesting to see it all peeled apart like this, especially considering how i've been working in vrc6 for the past couple months.

Really cool to see this, thanks for posting dude

This is actually very nostalgic, Mega Man games were one of favorite types of music...but I have to admit the Gameboy versions didn't have the best songs. I'm just blown away at how much life you added to these melodies, it sounds like something meant for a NES/SNES game!
