Hello, it's my first time in here, I'm already a bit experienced in making Famitracker songs, and i did a Megaman X cover, one of my favorite themes from the game, don't expect that much from this song, I might update the song often, letting it better, but for a while, here are .ftm version and .mp3 version, enjoy.

if you hadn't told me this was a cover of the central highway theme, i wouldn't have recognized it. and even after being told i don't recognize it.

what process did you use to make this cover? have you tried examining a MIDI or separating channels from the SPC to isolate notes/channels?

I know the exact song in my mind, this song was just something to pratice, it wasn't that good, but at the same time i thought i shouldn't throw away.

I don't think i can come up with a fair way to constructively criticize this. I would recommend you study somebody elses cover of the song and see how theirs differs from yours. If you just attempt to copy it note for note, of course you wont learn squat, but if, perhaps, you take a look at yours and attempt to understand why it doesn't compare to the song you're covering, somebody elses project can serve as an answer key of sorts to show you the timing and notes involved.

za909 had a cover he uploaded here, it's in a bit of a different style and i'm not certain it's perfect, mind you, but it's definitely recognizable as central highway...
