Something quick. This song is great, though. I kinda like how it turned out, with the slap bass and everything.

I'm hearing something really odd on my end. The DPCM is out of tune (some of the slap bass notes are up to a half-step too sharp, but not consistent) and the cover sounds really wonky as a result.
Any intuition on why this happens? I tried changing the pitches to get them closer, but the result is somehow worse... I have no idea about DPCM in general.

DPCM doesn't have consistency in tuning down. That's one of the problems of having melodic DPCM.
It really bugs me, too. I've got perfect pitch, so I get all crazy whenever something's out of tune.

What I do is tune the DPCM down slightly when importing so that the pitch-up notes will sound less out of tune.
This has the disadvantage of having octaves sounding like crap, but hey, they didn't sound good before anyway =V

i feel like more should be done with pulse 2 since its not really heard at all. the triangle drums should also have a little more "umph" so that it can actually be heard
