A little loopy thing I wrote. Still a W.I.P. I have absolutely no clue as to where I got the idea for the song's title. But yeah. I liked it, so I thought you guys might like it too. All criticism is welcome.

I dont know how to describe it, but the lead seems incredibly flat. I dont know how eactly, but its flat as all getout.

Also disable pitch in all the insturments, it doesn't sound good, and make the volume in the insturments more consistent, it causes clippling noises when you suddenly increase the volume like that.

Here are some tips to keep in mind for the future:

Optimize your DPCM samples. Cut them short and tilt the ends of the samples towards the top of the editor window. Like Zaalan3 mentioned, take out those pitch sequences, as they do not sound good. Make the volume sequences flow better (i.e. take out those random clips).

I applied this as well as some other fixes and changes in the FTM below.

I like it. With some quick volume control, this could turn out really good.

Thanks for all the feedback and help, you guys! I'll be sure to keep those things in mind from now on. VinylScratch I really like the changes you made to the lead. That transition between pattern 3 and 4 was pretty much the #1 thing I was struggling to get right, and you nailed it dead on. Once again, thanks!

I think you should work on the lead more so it doesn't clash and work with volume control, working with quieter volumes in diffenet parts is something most beginners have trouble with, and it'd be better if you started now.

Lead clashing? What do you mean?

Anyway, just about finished writing the other bits, and it ended up being quite... weird from a structural perspective. It's still a W.I.P though, and needs a good clout of polish. It's just... strange, all-round, I suppose. Here it is.

Dissonance. Sometimes it sounds good, but in this case it does not. Like at the biginning of pattern 03. Also, in the phlange in the second pattern get rid of the note cuts, it makes it stutter and doesnt sound good at all.
