hello! famicompo pico is a contest for the enjoyment of writing nes and famicom music. this is the third installment, from famicompo mini by K-> and FAMICOMPO by joseph.

- submit an entry between the [size=2]1st and 31st of december! ends 23:59:59 GMT
- submit as many as you like!
- ORIGINAL and COVER categories must be submitted in NSF form.
- FREESTYLE required formats: MP3. NSF portion must play through entire song without stopping. Processing to NSF portion is allowed.
- ex: [url=http://bitpuritans.eu/compo/chalktopia.nsf]nsf // [url=http://bitpuritans.eu/compo/chalktopia.mp3]mp3
- entries must not be previously released in public outside of famicompo pico, including other compos.

there are four categories.

- ORIGINAL (2A03, 64KB FILESIZE MAX)
- ORIGINAL (UNRESTRICTED)
- COVER
- FREESTYLE

winning entrants (or as many as possible) from ORIGINAL (2A03) will be placed on a special FAMICOMPO PICO nes cart which can be played on any american or european NES, or a Famicom with an adapter. 50% of funds will go to the cart maker, with 50% to [url=http://www.msf.org/]médecins sans frontières. one cart will be given away for free to the winner of each category!

Even though I probably won't participate, I'm still looking forward to see the entries.
There are always awesome stuffs that come out of FamiCompo!

@kfaraday: Sorry to be nitpicking, but the accents in "médecins sans frontières" are broken on the [url=http://bitpuritans.eu/compo/about_en.php]"about" page. But it might just be my computer...
