To me, the only thing awkward about frame 07 is your note timing on Pulse 1 D#-4 is delayed half a beat from the original. Is that deliberate?
Also, where are the toms? I can't hear them at all in frames 08 or 09, and they're one of the best parts of the song. Maybe you're not starting them high enough, pitch bending too fast or something, but they're not loud enough.
The drum solos near the end also feel a bit ... underwhelming.
Other than that it sounds pretty good and faithful to the original.

The weird transition during frame 07 is intentional. It sounds a little jarring at first but I think it sounds smoother once you adjust to it. To me, at least.
The toms are there, they are the same as in the original song but because of the extra channels and more intense percussion they aren't as prominent. I've tweaked them to be more noticable.
Yes, the toms do sound better now, though the drum riffs in frames 0A and 0B still don't feel right.
I think I know what your problem with the transition at frame 07 is: It's [u]off beat[/u] -- i.e. you're cutting the measure on the half-beat instead of on the full-beat. If I'm tapping my fingers along to the beat of the original, everything falls clearly onto a 1-2-3-4,1-2-3-4,1-2-3-4 pattern throughout the song (transition included) but in your version I go 1-2-3-waitwhatthenextmeasuresherealready?
So here's a few edited versions with the transition fixed:
#1 - I simply extended your transition to cut on the fullbeat. And adjusted the bassline a little to fit the longer length.
#2 - After reviewing the original, it actually sounds like the first note of frame 08 is a pickup at the end of the previous frame, so I moved it accordingly.
#3 - Same, but adjusted the timing of that D#-4 to match the original.

Because dots are used to denote the file extension (.ftm for example). Same reason why you shouldn't put backslashes in file names, they're used for system stuff.

This sounds great. I actually D#4 actually doesn't sound as good as the original in my opinion. And about the putting dots in a filename, yeah, that's bad. Putting a dot there could cause issues. It's generally not a problem with your newfangled windows 7's (I refuse to count win8 as a desktop OS), but when dealing with anything old, or moderately dated, it can be bad.

You can't assume that everyone is using whatever OS you're currently using. People will get upset if problems will occur when trying to open a certain file, especially if they don't know why it occurs.
Use other chars to represent space.
