A chiptune cover of Skrillex's Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites.
Once upon a time, I felt like the world needed this. However, I lost motivation, and it was left untouched for over a year. I decided to finally finish it, so here it is! This is my first completed work using the Namco extension. I had a lot of fun making the synthetic voice in Namco. x3
There have been many covers of this songs on FT forums, but none of them complete. It's been a while since I heard the original. My main complaint is that little echoey effect that comes in on line 10 of every dubstep-portion frame. It feels a bit out of place. Other than that, it's pretty well spot on, while still feeling chippy. Well done!

This is good at the moment, but there's a few issues that prevent this being super awesome; namely the lead melody is wrong with it missing a couple notes (also the vocals are a bit iffy, but being vocals I can understand getting that is a bit hard)

CheeseGuy99, I actually haven't heard the original in a good long while either. When I'm making a cover or remix, I make a point of not listening to the original any more than I need to, so I get original ideas for it more. I'm kinda funny that way.
DalekSam, you're absolutely right about that melody; I never could get it spot-on.
djmaximum, your edit sounds awesome! I don't have much experience at all with Namco, so it's really helpful to see what can be done with it.
Thats a good question, I just seem to enjoy doing mashups of some Particular things that I here in my head, and then I get all these crazy ideas like in this case, Skrillex VS Platinum Disco.
