When you upgrade FamiTracker would you lose your shortcut preferences? If that is true, it would be good to be able to re-import the preferences so you wouldn't have to re-input everything again.

Also can we add a shortcut for incrementing/decrementing generic numeric values, whether volume, effects, instrument number, pattern number, etc?

All preferences are stored in the registry and are retained upon upgrading.

You can store shortcuts in a file by exporting the registry key, in case you need it for another computer. The location is HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\FamiTracker\Shortcuts

Hmm, I'm more composer than programmer, and am not sure what exporting the registry key is, or where that location would be. I'm on a Mac OSX Yosemite running on Wine/X11.

Also, is it possible (my second request) to add a shortcut that increases the value of any number selected?

Oh wait, nevermind, there already is a shortcut for that! Sorry.

Edit: Actually is it possible to have a shortcut increase a value by $10?
