So I'm having some problems with my tempo. I've been working on a very slow song and now I want a fast beat to accompany it. Is it possible to change the tempo for one section of the song only? I don't want to change the tempo for the whole damn song as I'll have to re-write all I've done. I spent a good five to ten minutes looking. I'm afraid I'm quite new to the software...
Issue an Fxx command (in the effect column) at the desired point in the song to change its tempo. Note that you'll be specifying the tempo in hexadecimal, and if you're playing segments of a song at a time while composing, you'll want to F7 at whatever point you changed the tempo off default.
