So since everyone else is making a single thread for their FTM's, i decided i should join the trend.

I just finished what I'd consider my first decent Mega Man original... and it's totally not based off of another overdone song. Don't ask me why I did that. I don't know.

So yeah! Critique? What am I doing well, and how can I make the loop better... not totally solid on that.

This is actually not half bad! I felt the original 2 frames were lacking, however, so I added some sort of break-thing in between them that could really be better, but I don't know

I had a long post here, but just know I did various things.

And edited to reattach w/even more edits!

Edited a second time with something which I'm not sure if it's OK to post... but I reworked Shywolf's Wizard Man from the MMLL album for my instrument set... I think it doesn't sound half bad...

The similarity to [i]that overdone theme[/i] is pretty clear, but your tune's different enough overall to make it interesting in its own way.

Well considering that, I also covered some songs from the [url=http://megamanrevolution.com/soundtrack/]Mega Man Revolution OST.

As you can probably tell, the biggest issue with the songs it that they aren't very MM like, though the compositions are good. I tried to improve some of them in the process of covering them. (Wily 1 probably takes the most liberties)

I like this. Mega Man style is pretty well done, but there's some interesting kinda-dissonant chords that make it more interesting to listen to than "that one overdone song."
