For once, I had some free time on my hands, which I spent making this.
The original can be listened to [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xH9vHhKX6cs]here
This is also my first C64 -> NES cover. The arpeggios might not be correct, feel free to correct me on that because it's not my greatest ability to transcribe those.

Well, nothing can match the warm and soft, almost analog sound of teh Commodore 64. But your NES version comes surprisingly close - great job!

The apreggios sound very good, I don't really see any way of improving them since any modification would make them slower (adding another tick) - which would be a disemprovement.
Also, really clever duty cycle modulation with that lead. Makes it sound very warm and friendly.
The percussion also sounds extremely close to original. Very good combination of Pulse and Traingle drum!

All in all - what's there to complain? Nothing at all, I think

Maybe you could better mimic the real duty cycles using a VRC6? ^^

Thanks, it really did feel weird. I suppose next time I'll take regions into consideration to avoid speed problems, which then led to rhytm problems. Btw, you missed the first triplet, so this should be the last version.

@Warheart: Yes I know, I just don't have the time to log in other than during weekends and last time I didn't get around to it either. Tomorrow I promise!
