I was listening to an FTM yesterday when for some reason the notes on the DPCM channel became incredibly distracting visually as I tried to analyze the parts and figure things out. Even when I muted the DPCM channel it was still distracting.

Then I realize: When you mute a channel, FamiTracker tints the channel header red to indicate it's been muted, but the rest of the channel displays in its normal colors. That's what's distracting me. (It did not help I was using my notebook at the time, whose LCD screen shifts brightness noticeably depending in your viewing angle relative to the screen, so the red highlight on the channel header actually wasn't all that visible in the first place.)

So when you mute a channel, can FamiTracker color-code that channel's pattern view to better indicate that it's not playing? Maybe display it as a dark gray instead of the default green/yellow scheme.

I would actually prefer it not do that behavior. If implemented, please allow a way to have it off by default.

I've seen many trackers behave that way, especially older DOS trackers. I have to admit it's a pretty neat idea.
