Well I have to admit, alot of these are quite interesting. And some of them, to be honest sound very unusual. I actually like Route 47-48 and your version of the Song of Storms. The Rainbow Road is actually pretty amazing to me: but I did notice a couple notes that sounded out of place. I'd love to do percussion for this, seriously. :u
I've also noticed that in pretty much all of these, there's either weak percussion or no percussion at all. It's obviously intentional, but without it it often makes songs awfully dry.
Other than that, This is actually not that bad. Some of the tunes you've made can actually go pretty far if it's worked on well enough. It takes alot of practice and sometimes patience, though.

Oh, and happy birthday.

Yeah I suck at percussion XP. I would, but I have to cover from sheet music, as I don't like/also am not good at covering by ear.

Percussion sheet music for video games is extremely rare to come by. Maybe someday...

I was messing with a few zelda songs to cover by ear, but gave up on them.

Finish them if you want, I'd appreciate it. There might be other songs in there, but whatever.

OH LORDY JESUS YES I FINALLY FINISHED MY COVER OF GREAT BAY TEMPLE! WHAT A GLORIOUS DAY THIS IS!!!!

I had extreme trouble finding the proper DPCM sample for the cover, but then I dug through Warheart's Zelda MM sample pack while trying to do a 900 BPM original, and I found it. The last piece I needed to do the cover.

I shall now be Warheart's loyal servant (on this forum).

Great Bay Temple has the best song out of all the songs from the N64 Zelda games.

EDIT: Of course in my excitement I forgot to attach it.

EDIT2: The first cover needed some minor polishing, so I'm removing the old ftm and putting the new one here.

EDIT3: I also did some basic percussion testing with a blank instrument on the vrc7 test track.

Well, I attempted to make a 2A03 original, and out came this.

It might be good for a video game, specifically a title screen or a relaxing area (like an inn or something).

If anybody wants to expand it, I'd love to see this get bigger.

EDIT: I have another one, this is more lively, like a stage, mini-boss, or something. Guess it's time to make a soundtrack...

EDIT2: yay expanded/edited songs

yay I can make mediocre percussion by ear now!

I fixed up my old cover of SNES Rainbow Road with some noise+Akumajo Densetsu DPCM samples. Those things go with everything (seemingly).

Okay so my laptop decided to get its charger port super wiggly, and nothing can seem to fix it, so to avoid a fire I have been using my kind of shitty Windows xp desktop to make some more covers, but transferring them is going to be a paon in the ass.

List of (hopefully) upcoming covers:

-Dragon Quest/Warrior III - Dungeon/Cave
-The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - Hyrule Field (Morning, on foot)
- Something from SMG1
-Something from Animal Crossing (GCN)
-The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask - Woodfall Temple

I think covering the Woodfall Temple would be pretty good for challegning myself to make better percussion in my covers.

Also, unlike the usual idea of not asking for certain songs yo be covered, I want a request or three. Anything (that I can find a midi or sheet music of) from any video game and any user is fine. In fact, I want as many requests as each of you can throw at me.

Have a nice day y'all!

Holy grating constant volumes batman!

You...need to read the manual and wiki. The namco files here all have every wave overwriting the preceding ones because they all occupy slots 0-31

For some reason the help file doesn't show anything on my computer, and I read the wiki, but I can't seem to find a way to implement a wave less than size 32 effectively.

He means change the wave position around. When two waves share same position, they will clash.

I know. I mean even after I moved the waves around, they still had some overlap others. Does that affect 2 waves when one is playing and the other isn't, but they overlap?

I also need to clean some attachments from this thread to cut out redundant files and the unpleasant sounding ones.
