I have this issue sometimes where I'll assign different settings, say Volume for example, in one instrument, and it will apply to all of the other instruments as well.

Let's say Instrument 00, I want the volume to have a value of 15, 14, 10, 7, 3, 0, and I want Instrument 01 to have a value of 15, 10, 5, 0. I can't get them to save independently of each other. If I change the value in 00, 01 will change, and vice versa.

I'm missing something. Anyone have a tip?

In the instrument editor on the right bottom side, there is a button 'select next empty slot'. If you click it, the sequence number below will change to an empty sequence.

Sequence ID numbers are shared between instruments (in the same way that pattern ID numbers can be shared/repeated between frames), so before creating a new volume/whatever curve for an instrument, check the sequence number shown in the list of instrument settings.

IMHO, a small thing that can help keep some of your instrument settings organized is whatever settings one instrument should not share with another, assign a sequence ID = instrument ID.
